Two friends. One passion for music.

Behind Nordklang Musikatelier are Alexandra Seubert-Harm and Michael Gabler — two musicians and close friends who decided more than ten years ago in Hamburg to found Nordklang Musikatelier together.

What connects them is not only their long collaboration, but above all a shared passion for music and the joy of sharing it with others.

Over the years they have gathered a wealth of experience, knowledge, and musical stories. All of that they want to pass on at Nordklang Musikatelier — with personal guidance, heart, and above all a love of music.

It is not only about learning technique or mastering your voice and instrument. It is about discovering music, trying things out, taking new risks, and finding your own musical path.

Pop singing

Alex completed her training as a state-certified singing teacher with a focus on rock, pop, and jazz at the Berufsfachschule für Musik in Dinkelsbühl. She then taught for several years in Hamburg before returning to her Franconian home.

In recent years she has accompanied well over 100 singers on their musical journey — from ambitious hobby singing to professional stage careers.

As a musician, Alex has also been active for more than 20 years. She can be heard on more than 30 albums and regularly performs live. Her focus is her solo project “Alex”, for which she writes and composes all of her own songs.

With more than 15 years of teaching experience, Alex combines solid vocal technique with personal, practice-oriented lessons. The focus is individual voice development, a healthy approach to singing, and above all the joy of singing.

Michael Gabler

Music has accompanied Michael Gabler for many years — on stage, in the studio, and in teaching. His training in popular music and as an audio engineer forms the foundation for his versatile work as a musician and teacher.

Already during his studies at the “Hamburg School of Music”, Michael began teaching at private schools. Since then he has accompanied more than 100 students on their personal musical journeys. At the same time he has performed as a live musician for more than 20 years, with countless appearances as a guitarist and singer.

This long experience flows directly into his teaching. Michael wants not only to pass on theoretical knowledge, but to work with practical exercises and tools that prove themselves in real musicians’ lives.

Musically, Michael moves across many styles. His roots are in rock, but over time he has also discovered a passion for pop, jazz, and fusion. These influences still shape his own music today.

In 2025 Michael released his current EP “Alles zu seiner Zeit”, a personal project for which he wrote songs with German lyrics for the first time.

In the heart of Vienna’s 6th district, near the Naschmarkt, you will find our music studio — a cozy space where music, lessons, making music together, and personality come together.

Warm colors, indirect light, and quality equipment create a relaxed atmosphere where you can focus fully on the music.

Whether in one-to-one lessons, singing together in a choir, or recording your own songs — our studio should be a place where you feel at ease, can try things out, and find space for your music.

Clear and fair.

You can book single lessons, 5-lesson cards, and 10-lesson cards with us. Because regular lessons bring the best progress, it is important to us that cards are used within a set period.
